In the vibrant and passionate spirit of public service, Cluster 3 of the Department of Education β Davao City, headed by its Public Schools District Supervisor Dr. Roberto R. Binag, proudly takes part in the 2025 Search for the Achievement of Great Leadership Award (AGILA) and the Exemplary Achievement for Great and Laudable Employee (EAGLE). These prestigious recognitions are not merely awardsβthey are affirmations of stories lived, lessons shared, and lives transformed through the tireless work of dedicated educators and staff.
Nominees across various categories from the nine Cluster 3 schools have stepped forwardβnot to boast, but to bear witness to the quiet heroism that takes place each day in classrooms, offices, and communities. Their stories speak of integrity, commitment, and an unwavering belief in the potential of every learner. This spirit of excellence and dedication was showcased during the presentation of portfolios and interviews held on July 17, 2025, at Maa National High School, where each nominee shared their unique journey and impact in the field of education.
There are tales of innovative teaching strategies that reignited students’ passion for learning, of resourceful interventions that addressed gaps in academic performance, and of mentorship and coaching that uplifted both learners and colleagues. There are also stories of educators who walked milesβliterally and figurativelyβand of employees who kept school operations running like clockwork despite challenges. These are stories of perseverance turned into progress, of hardships transformed into hope.
What binds and connects them all together is a shared set of values: compassion, humility, excellence, selflessness, courage, resilience, and a deep sense of purpose. These individuals have touched lives not just through their roles but through the examples they set, the trust they build, and the communities they nurture.
More than just a recognition, the AGILA and EAGLE Awards offer a platform to elevate their storiesβto let their voices echo beyond their school walls and inspire others across the division and region. As Cluster 3 eagerly anticipates the announcement of its winners, it is with a collective hope that these champions will soon shine even brighter on the division and regional stages, where their stories can inspire systemic change and deeper appreciation for public service.
In celebrating their achievements, Cluster 3 reaffirms its belief that great leadership and exemplary service are not positionsβbut actions, values, and legacies. And through the AGILA and EAGLE Awards, these legacies are honored, remembered, and passed on.
Let their stories be heard. Let their light inspire.
